Paris
What can I say ? Paris is truly an amazing city and we got the chance to experience it. I’m not one for typing out a lot of words to express myself so I hope my images of this amazing place can express it.
These girls were singing on their way to school, they were so loud that we heard them from way above the street. It sounded like their own battle cry. I loved it.
Would love to see this Starship Trooper in the next Star Wars .
The graffiti art is really something to behold and adds such a layer of colour throughout the city.
Bubble fun.
If you’re ever in Paris you would see a lot of Bride and Grooms all over the city having their photo sessions. It’s really quite something especially for me given my profession. I took a quick photo of the happy Bride above and the owner of a book stall was like “what about me” with a smile on his face, which explains the photo above.
One of Brittany’s obsession.
On the way to Notre Dame.
Arriving at Notre Dame
I couldn’t believe that Tom Ward was playing at the Notre Dame bridge. What an amazing coincidence that he was in Paris the same time that we were. I’ve seen him so many times on YouTube and videos posted on Facebook, but seeing him play live was magical.
We used the big bus tour to get around to all the sites. It was so much fun riding them. If you ever decide to use these to get around remember to walk with sun screen, I paid the price for thinking I’m immune to the Paris heat just because I’m from Trinidad.
Brittany and the Arc De Triomphe
I rarely take selfies, but hey, just this once.
Yummmmm
I’m not really a foody kinda guy but the deserts in Paris are to die for.
Seeing these paintings up close is the only way to see them.
I’m surprised I even got this shot of the Mona Lisa because there were so many people in front of the painting. I ended up using my 135 and shooting a Brenizer.
The painting of Napoleon being crowned emperor of France has to be one of my favorites. Just look at the size of it compared to Brittany. I swear it’s like actually being there when it happened.
Yup. I just had to.
